Chanel No5 - L'EAU Fragrance

The Iconic bottle design of Chanel No5 has stood the test of time since its launch in May 1922 to select clientele in Chanel rue Cambon.

Created and designed by Gabrielle Bonheur "Coco" Chanel, a French fashion designer and businesswoman it was intend to be "pure transparency ...an invisible bottle." as a direct antidote to the "over-elaborate, precious fussiness of the crystal fragrance bottles then in fashion"

With flat rectangular bevelled edges typical of  toiletry bottles of that time her inspiration even extended to her lovers whisky bottle that exuded a "exquisite, expensive, delicate glass."

Although there have been slight variations and even more recent style changes to the new No5 L'EAU Fragrance we wanted to capture its timeless beauty.

Rendered in 3D using our in house production team we wanted to strip away the celebrity and celebrate it's true form.
